This nature inspired abstract wall art was captured in 'the lost archipelago' of Palau in the Pacific Ocean. The beautiful islands are surrounded by stunning and pristine Coral Reefs that offer exquisite patterns and stunning colors.

Palau is a magical place that is secluded and pristine, it is nature in its purest essence without the effects of mass tourism. Wandering around the island is a true blessing, it truly gives you the opportunity to connect with nature and connect with yourself.

This picture was taken while flying over the beautiful islands and coral reef formations. This aerial capture was created to truly showcase the gorgeous textures, patterns and colors, which are guaranteed to delight the eye.

This particular scene is a combination of mother nature's magical creation with man-intervention. The beautiful islands of Palau are entirely surrounded by coral reefs which made it impossible for boats to approach the inner islands.

Hence, in the early 20th century, humans opened this channel to allow navigation. It is known as the "German Channel", as it was built by the Germans when Palau was a German Colony.

My intention with this capture was to provide depth to the image by capturing the channel from the top left all the way across the frame and down into the bottom right corner.

The dark navy blue tone of the ocean dominates this path and provides a striking contrast to the brighter, more vivid and more colorful tones at the edge of the frame.

Ultimately, this is a refined fine art piece that is full of beautiful textures, stunning patterns and delightful colors...a true statement into any room.
